In Central NY this week it transitioned from snow to the a glimpse of spring! It seems to happen overnight and then we get excited and the snow decides it needs to stop in again around April or even May. But until then we will enjoy! I was very excited to see this mini flower pop up and tested my new macro lens on my iPhone 13. Easy to use, though I know I have some setting’s to adjust but for my first test I think it’s pretty neat.

Exploring with the Bronco
We finally picked up the new Bronco and couldn’t wait to explore!! We started the week with a Pi celebration at the Capitol Theatre. Any day that celebrates math is awesome. (Have you tried the nerdle??) They had pie and coffee from a new shop that will be opening soon, Superofficial coffee. Mid-week stopped into my favorite Blossvale coffee Coffee Culture Revival, tasted their St. Patrick’s week cold brew special. At the end of the week we found this cute cafe in Lowville called the PB & J Cafe. So if I had a theme for the week I would say it was Coffee Discovery.

Now for the Bronco! We picked up our 2022 Bronco that we ordered in 2020. It is a Cactus Grey 4-door Badlands with Sasquatch package. Not sure what all that means but the color is beautiful, tires huge and we can’t wait to take it down to Daytona take the top off and ride on the beach! Ken is working on some videos about what he likes and additions he is adding that we will pop up on YouTube this week. Spoiler, one addition is a side step so I don’t have to jump so high:) I am enjoying riding, driving and taking pictures of and from the passenger seat. Here’s a few of my favorites.

Here are my highlights!
What I learned this week – I took an emotional IQ test and it said I was emotionally intelligent. Yay me. I love tests and seeing where I fit. Though knowing myself I do know that the area I always need to work on is empathy. Using my active listening skills and imagine others feelings is something I do have to be intentional about doing. My brain is going is so many different directions I don’t mean to go through my list of what I need to complete it just happens… and as far as feelings, not my favorite 😀 But I continue to practice and stop, listen, focus and try and be open with some feels. I also did an enneagram test because Jenna was talking about it in the Goal Digger podcast and I enjoy all the self discovery type tests. I am enneagram type 7, 9 and 5 and my lowest was type 6. Here are a few of my strengths if you want to get to know me: Sevens are defined by their desire to experience everything life has to offer while avoiding pain and boredom, seems fairly accurate. Nines rarely rock the boat, but they can be stubborn. While they typically go with the flow, they dislike being controlled and will respond with passive resistance if pushed too far. Again, I would say accurate. Fives enjoy deepening their understanding of the world, expanding their intellect, while minimizing their physical and relationship needs. This is why I love all of these types of test and why I was so drawn to study psychology. I can see that I will need to continue my research on these enneagram types!

How I was creative this week – Still working on my coloring sheet. If you did not read last week I am using my iPad and uploaded this coloring page from the ECHO Featured Artist Megan Mitts. I grab this when my brain needs a mental break from my computer but I don’t want to put away the electronics:) Maybe it will be done by next week. Also I painted these 4 – 4×4 canvases a few months ago and I have been looking some white quote stickers. If anyone has any suggestions please share! But while I am looking I did take some photos and use an app to give you an idea what I am looking for.

Quote of the week – “Still, round the corner, there may wait, A new road or a secret gate.” ~ J. R. R. Tolkien
What I listened to this week – I listened to my go to Podcast Goal Digger, she had a great podcast about the Top 5 Kinds of People to Have in Your Life. Very accurate and continues to remind me to be intentional in every way including relationships. The rest of my time I was fairly obsessed with YouTube videos on ClickUp. Last post I was testing a few options for project management and I decided to move forward with ClickUp! I love it and rolled it out to team members. I found this channel, Layla at Process Driven, very helpful! All week I watched a good majority of the beginner videos, mistake in set up videos and tips, tricks and strategy’s. There is a lot more to learn with this system so I am sure next week I will continue to watch more.
App/s I have explored – This week I also tested other text art apps for my photos/quote posts. I tried Text Art: Quotes Maker, PicType and Text Art. I do have to say I am missing WordSwag. There are some benefits I am missing on these, some you can’t move the text, there are not as many choices, WordSwag has a nice feature where they give you actual quotes to use and also you have more choices to adjust the canvas/photos. I will probably download a few more and continue testing to find one that is less than $4.99/month.
